My name is Sarah English and I offer weekly counselling and psychotherapy sessions, for both short and long-term therapy.
I am currently working online, via a safe and secure video platform, until such a time as we are able to meet in person, at my quiet and comfortable private practice rooms in Guildford.
From my experience, whilst people come to see a counsellor or therapist for many different reasons, everyone wants (and deserves) to be understood and accepted. I work in a non-judgemental way, allowing whatever is true for you to be safely explored at a pace that feels right for you. This creates a safe and reflective environment, where your awareness of yourself can truly grow.
You may be weighed down with depression, anxiety, bereavement or stress? Perhaps you have a critical inner voice and want to learn to speak to yourself with kindness, or learn mindfulness and meditation techniques to soothe your stress and anxiety. Perhaps you would like to learn how to communicate more effectively with those around you when you are in one-to-one or group situations to improve relationship problems. Or maybe you’ve never felt ‘right’ and you don’t know why. Or you may have got to a point where you want to talk to someone about things that went on in the past that were, and still are, incredibly difficult to cope with.
